The game had a very big importance for second-ranked FinnishDrive Ac. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Drive Ac. smashed 4th ranked Austrian United PSV in Espoo 102-47 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of United PSV. The game without a history. Drive Ac. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to United PSV 's 24. Drive Ac. forced 44 United PSV turnovers and had a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Drive Ac. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by United PSV 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish center Garang Machol (205-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and forward Nantti Ruuhilahti (194-2007) who added 17 points during the contest. Five Drive Ac. players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Philipp Anic (181-2006) responded with 15 points and Ukrainian guard Mykyta Bitkin (183-2005) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 7 other teams. Vienna Utd. at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams.
